@madisonj643 They are both in LSA and CoE EECS I think this is because U michigan s Data Science degree seems like Stat + CS

What happens if I pay the deposit, but decide to attend another school. Am I just out the $300 deposit? Michigan is my top choice, but financial aid hasn’t come in for any of the schools I’ve applied to, and I am projected to get more money from other schools, but if I don’t get anything, Michigan will be cheaper.
Has anyone heard from the School of Nursing yet?

When do we receive our financial aid packages, or should we be able to see them? Right now it shows that I am receiving $0 under my award description, but idk if that’s b/c financial packages have not been released yet, or b/c I am just not receiving any money lol. If that’s the case, then I’m not about to pay $60K per year *sigh

It will say 0 until they make an award. Look also under documents to make sure there is nothing else you need to send in for them to complete it. If they require a tax transcript, that is easily done online in 10 minutes. My award was posted before my admissions decisions because I tracked the required documents and got them in ASAP. so, check both award summary and documents they are requesting every day.

Is anyone else’s financial aid package taking 60 years to be put together? Ugh. I had to ask for an EDR extension because of it! Thankfully, they approved. I have until April 14.
@M_Koch98 my understanding is that if you put a deposit and choose to attend a different school you will lose your deposit and you MUST tell Umichigan before you place a deposit at the other school (there could potentially be school conflicts and you could lose both acceptances)
That’s what I figured. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t contracted to pay the full years tuition. All in all, I’ll just ask for an extension since finical aid hasn’t come in yet.
How long does it take to get your transfer transcript? Is it online or will it be emailed?

@EdwardL I got in for Mechanical engineering. I really don’t know if I got into Michigan which will I pick. 
both are really similar in every aspect. I see you got in for CS, you should definitely attend UIUC for CS.
@EngineEstein You are right, and you cannot go wrong with either school anyway. That being said, I personally prefer UM if I’m admitted mostly because of the location and the student body. I kinda expect the undergraduate experience to be more than my major and job prospects since I plan to get a master. just my 2c
School of Nursing applicants - any ideas on what day decisions will be released? I emailed last week and was told by the end of the month we would hear, so it must be this week.
