ECs:

Internship with Ellucian in 2016, Help Desk Technician 5 months, extended from 3 months due to good performance.

I participate in something called /r/anime sings. I mix and sing in these covers, think Kids Bop, but with anime songs instead of Arianna Grande songs, and the singers range from 15-29 in age. Projects have 20-90 singers each. Not school ran, it’s all on Reddit,. I still do this to this day.

I shared a sample of some of the projects I’ve mixed.

Some Salvation Army participation (Christmas Angel Tree program)

Past food bank volunteering

One of 12 Heads of my tech school’s Student Government, SkilolsUSA. I sent in the transcript for said trade school, where I made A’s across the board and got CompTIA A+ and Network + certified.

Currently work at Applebees’

Formerly worked at a grocery store as a bagger while in college to pay for college (This was my first job, I quit to start my Ellucian internship then worked at Applebees after.)

I feel I’m forgetting something , I’ll add it if I think of anything

@jazz4jda yes I did complete all Pre-Reqs as they are required to transfer into the College of Engineering.

Will they release decisions during the week?

hello!! so, in january i got rejected for LSA (i dont have enough credits to be at junior standing so i had to submit my high school transcript and they ruined my chances) and i got an email that said

“… The quality of academic work you demonstrated last semester was impressive, and it was noted in the evaluation of your application.

If your interest in attending the University of Michigan continues, you should continue to build upon the strong academic performance you have shown and update your application for consideration for the next available term. Please request this update in writing prior to the deadline of your desired new term of entry. Also include the name of the institution you are attending, course title(s), course number(s), and number of credit hours you will complete prior to the desired term of entry. If a new application fee or additional information is required, we will notify you. For more information, go to https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/471.”

and i was wondering if you guys think i should apply for spring 2020? or does this sound like a total rejection? thank you!!

Has anyone submitted right before ddl received application result yet?

@Fulfilling I submitted my application on Jan 25th but still have not heard back yet. I thought it was due to my late delivery of college transcript. My material was marked complete on Feb 27th.

hi, I got a question. how did you know your materials was marked complete? I can’t find it on my application status. thx

has anyone applied to the school of nursing?

@k0be8111 you should call the admission office to make sure that.

Got admitted last night. Applied for LSA, international student currently study at an out-of-state community college.

Did you receive an email from the admission office, or simply an update on the portal? I was admitted too, but I only saw my decision on the portal. I didn’t receive the email.

@waydownwego

Undergraduate Computer Science student from Michigan State University - applied to transfer into LSA Computer Science!

I applied right before the transfer deadline, which I think was Feb 1, 2019.

I currently have a 3.59 GPA, with 42 credits taken, not counting my current semester.
SAT: 1300/1600
Ethnicity: Asian
Letter of Recommendation from my Calculus 2 Professor
EC’s include Data Science club, TEDx (high school), varsity sports (high school), worked at an insurance firm briefly, etc.
Dean’s List

I got an email from the admissions office stating that after a comprehensive review of my application, that they would need to see mid-term grades before making a decision.

Currently, I’m enrolled in 3 classes (12 credits) including Mathematical Proofs, Discrete Structures in Computer Science (Discrete Math) and a Humanities course. I scored A’s on all my mid-term’s and sent those grades in. Did anyone else get a similar email from the admissions office? Also, I’m assuming that by having all A’s, I have a decent shot of getting in?

I applied to transfer into LSA and I got rejected, but in my decision email they said,

"The quality of academic work you demonstrated last semester was impressive, and it was noted in the evaluation of your application.

If your interest in attending the University of Michigan continues, you should continue to build upon the strong academic performance you have shown and update your application for consideration for the next available term. Please request this update in writing prior to the deadline of your desired new term of entry."

Has anyone else gotten this? Do you think if I applied for winter 2020 I would get in?

@qwertyu123 I just received my admission email this noon.

For those of you who got admitted, could you tell me when were your materials complete and when were you submitted the application?

Just received an email from kines that they are delaying decisions until the end of the month due to “unforeseen circumstances”

I received the same email too! ! I am just wondering if others who applied for Kines receive the email too.

Just got accepted to LSA (biology), gpa is 3.3 and I go to a top 50 school. I have about 45 credits but I will not be providing and more stats. Good luck to everybody!

@soccergirl98222 Congrats! When did you apply?
