@JellyPeeps i have 57 completed credits as of right now, and i just finished my fourth semester so im a little confused as to why they think i dont/didnt have enough credits. I got four A’s this semester and one C- so im hoping they’ll see that i tried really hard but just couldn’t understand italian lol. i would also be coming from a private college near nyc
@kmalin I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be Junior standing. I ended with 67 credits because of some prerequisites, but only 57 transfered. I know a C is non transferable. If you have under 55 credits they also consider your high school record and standardized test scores. So maybe that is what happened.
You can go to their website and see how/if your classes transfer. That might give you a better idea of what they were looking at. You could also ask for additional feedback, but I’m not sure if UM provides this.
@JellyPeeps I saw you got into Michigan without test scores, but did you get into any others without them? I read you wrote to the Ivies saying you could not take standardized tests due to an engagement, but that seems implausible given you are 40 (correct me if I am wrong) and the fact they are administered 4 times per year. I am sure that would not be received well by them. How did they react when you wrote them that?
Anybody applying as an external transfer for Ross?
anyone applying for winter 2020 ?
I got into Ross for Fall 2019 Semester as an external transfer, @LeftyRighty16 not sure what to do though. To anyone who is transferring to michigan, did you like the school that you’re coming from at all? I don’t like the social life at my school even though I made some great friends, but I’d feel really bad leaving them and would probably regret it at least in the short term.
So anyone who’s transferring, why are you leaving the school that you’re leaving?
I’ve only got until friday at midnight to decide so any help is appreciated
Bruh why… I’m also an Asian international student and your scores seems amazing. What did you finally get?
Hi would it be possible for you to share me your transfer essay as a guide? I am kind of confused as to what the University of Michigan expects from a transfer student.
I had some questions regarding the transfer. Would you mind pm me?
I am applying for this spring! Is a 3.4 even worth a shot?
