@billcsho Well that’s the thing, it should definitely have been enough time for the college board, but the order never sent, so I had to place a new order just today. I emailed a counselor to tell them of my issue. Let’s hope they understand.
@fcahsrs Their standard processing time is 3-5 business days. If you submit the request a few days ago, it will not make it by today. You should have received a confirmation when you placed the order. For prime time around application deadline, they recommend at least 1 week before deadline.
@billcsho I’m in a similar situation. I submitted my application weeks ago but only sent my scores yesterday. My family didn’t have the money to submit my scores until then. Should I email an AO to let them know that?
@frazzledazzle What are you going to tell them? The score report is much cheaper than the application fee.
@billcsho I had a fee waiver when I applied. I don’t know yet. Probably will just let them know that the scores were sent and will be there soon, if not already. Also will explain why they were sent so late.
@frazzledazzle Did you self report your score also? Some schools would allow delayed score report until admission if for a financial reason. Not sure UMich would consider that. Have you tried to receive the waiver from CB?
@billcsho I self reported all of my scores on my application. My family doesn’t qualify for the CB-specific fee waiver (exceed the amount for my family size by ~$10k). I used a UMichigan-specific fee waiver when I applied.
I applied regular decision and just got my acceptance yesterday! So excited!
@WFBrown when did you apply? Congrats
@bigbrewer299 I submitted my application on November 16th.
@WFBrown I also applied RD and got an acceptance yesterday! I feel like it’s some sort of glitch it seems too early.
@Olumup This is what they mean by rolling RD admission.
Does applying early for rd increase the chances of acceptance? I am worried that I have put myself at a disadvantage by applying late…
I saw on Michigan’s website that we find out in April. Is it actually that we find out by April? That’d be very nice!
@Olumup when did you apply?
@billcsho: If RD acceptances are starting to come out now, does that mean RD rejections are coming out as well? That is, do both RD acceptances and denials come out at roughly the same time, depending on when your application was sent in?
@gandalf78 Rejection notice has lower priority. Some may come with a wait list or sophomore transfer offer. They just need to send those out by April 15.
Applied Jan 8 and was accepted Feb 2 OOS,
@borisdarice OOS?
@WFBrown They said that they’re OOS.
OOS - out of state. Now will need to figure out how to pay for the $47k tuition for OOS
