University of Michigan Regular Decision Class of 2022

Does anyone know when they will send out the paper acceptances in the mail? When did they come last year? Is it all at once or do they get sent in waves?

Um… I shouldn’t expect getting into Ross by the RD right now right

Does anybody know at what time we should expect a release today?

@Fonz93 nothing is off the table based on earlier notes. There are two more big releases, this Friday and next Friday. Again, based on previous info and previous years. As I understand it, students are notified of LSA first, then within a week or so, you get notified by Ross. Even if you don’t initially get into Ross, you can start LSA and apply to Ross next year.

@usma87 by this Friday you mean today right

@Fonz93 There is no fixed schedule of admission release. Otherwise, there would not be so many speculations (mostly wrong so far), and therefore frustrations, every year. Do not count on the Friday schedule as it can be at any time on any day. For Ross pre-admission near the end of admission cycle, one may be notified in a week after the LSA admission instead of 3+ weeks in the early rounds.

@Nealthakker and @Billscho - yes I mean today. To Billscho’s point, no one really knows. I defer to him on this thread. I will add, the predicted notification timeline of 2/2, 3/2, 3/9, and 3/16 has been accurate so far. “So you’re saying there’s a chance?” - yes

@usma87 LOVE your reference!! :))

Is there a specific time we should look for??? Or could it be whenever today??

@Fonz93 actually no, you no longer can apply to Ross as a sophomore. This ended with last year’s freshman class. You must be a freshman pre-admit now. I am not aware of any exceptions to this.

@victor1990 - is the Ross website wrong? https://michiganross.umich.edu/programs/bba/application-requirements/cross-campus-transfer . I thought it was still an option, but the primary route is PA through LSA.

@usma87 It is still an option, but only for those did not apply to pre-admission, So there is no second chance.

@billcsho - Ah, I figured there was something I was missing. No news for my DS today.

Did anyone got their replies today?

I haven’t gotten a decision yet but congratulations to everyone who has! And good luck to everyone waiting!

I dont think Michigan gives out decisions in weekends, I know the wait kills but its inevitable. Stay Strong and be Positive.

@charizard1234 They did release admission over weekend in the past but for EA though. So they may if they have to.

Is the RD pretty much over by now? Can we assume that they finished sending out most of the acceptances?

I haven’t gotten a decision yet… international student and applied on 1/31. Anyone know why?

@Fonz93 Is that how UMich does their RD? Do they send out all their acceptances first then all their rejections?
