Will applying to the Residential College instead of LSA Freshman at University of Michigan hurt my chances of getting into the Arts and Sciences Program? Do I have a chance of getting into Residential College with 1480 SAT and 4.0 unweighted GPA?
I don’t think RC impacts Admissions. You can apply to RC and LSA Honors btw.

Not entirely sure what the op is asking but no it won’t hurt your chacnes. You apply to lsa and choose the RC once admitted.
Yes, once you’re admitted to LSA, you will then be offered the chance to apply to a Residential College or Honors Program, if desired.
