My friend got denied, anyone else hear absolutely nothing?
I’ve heard nothing and I got accepted into lsa in December

My son got denied ! Sat 1540, 800 Math 2, lots of ECs, varsity . This was his first choice. Sigh!
rejected…im really not trying to be arrogant or anything but i’m really really surprised. total bummer.
Ac832 What is your take on going to Mich without Ross? Yay or nay? because I think my son might be in the same boat soon, as he was accepted LSA in Dec. and still nothing.
I’m signed up for the regular campus day on the 30th and was hoping to know about Ross before then so I could go to their campus day

He doesn’t want to go LSA. He says he will always feel he should be the other side . He got into UVA , Emory & waiting on Georgetown, NYU , Cornell & Carnegie Mellon. Let’s see.Hope he finds a school he loves as much as he did Ross.
Have not heard yet and applied in December. Honestly, the business school is only 58 credits and you can take the core of these as a Minor at Ross. I don’t believe it will make or break anyones career and or job chances. For me it will help make the school smaller and I am interested in more the analytical tract, Consulting or Accounting and all can be achieved through LSA. But would love to have a double major with Ross and LSA. Take a look at the list of majors and also at the list of required courses for Ross BBA if you haven’t already.
Ross admissions is very holistic. You cannot predict acceptance or rejection based on scores. As with all small-college admissions, building a class is akin to casting a play. They do not want 600 people who all have 1540+ SATs and are math geniuses or who are all valedictorians or who have already made a million in the stock market.
Fewer than 10 percent of students at University of Michigan is a Ross student. I’m thinking they are fully human and go on to have great lives.
@FoxRulz . Thanks! That is something he will have to decide once he receives all . We r visiting UVA first time on Monday. Thank god when they deffered him from LSA he applied to all this other colleges. He now has choices.
