what is the acceptance rate for Ross?

Think there are several more waves for Ross so no one will know till its done.

Is it like an auto reject if there remains no news on the ross front?

@tolifelchaim Not at all. There are still 2 more decision release dates. And @Itiznotfare, last year the preferred admission acceptance rate was 8%.

@Mezric11 Thank you! Also, would you happen to also know if Ross rejects any candidates in first two rounds?

I was somewhat worried since I heard that given I applied EA, the only two rounds that give out offers are the first two, but again this is probably uncorroborated.

@Itiznotfare @Mezric11 actually the acceptance rate last year was 12%

Did anybody receive a decision for Ross on March 1st?

@twocupsofcoffee yes, multiple people
check above
there will be two more rounds: March 29th, April 19th, meaning they have not accepted everyone yet

Accepted

@garamxmasala My mistake! 12% was the actual acceptance rate for last year. And @tolifelchaim, there will be acceptance decisions included in the last two release dates. :slight_smile:

When is the next wave of Ross decisions?

@super2020star March 29th :)>-

So child was deferred EA and then admitted LSA Feb 1. My understanding is that Feb 1 was the deadline for Ross correct?
So my child’s only option at this point is to apply as a transfer into Ross once at UM correct? chances seem slim for that.

@Mamabear33 Never heard that there was a deadline of Feb 1 to get into LSA to be considered for Ross. Where did you learn that? But I think that the chances of getting in to Ross are greatly diminished the longer it takes to get accepted to LSA.

@Mamabear33 - I have never heard of the 2/1 deadline for Ross. However, if your child does not get into Ross, I would highly recommend he/she makes the Michigan decision based on an LSA major. The chance of a transfer into Ross as a freshman is very slim and very difficult. Additionally, while we were at the Ross meeting, they mentioned that those that didn’t get in initially should not apply as freshman.

am i misreading this?
