Daughter has accepted admission to UW-Madison as well. If UM comes through she will go - but I’m really surprised they haven’t started taking people from this list yet!
I’m going to attend MSU( ) as of now. I’m splitting up my family as my sister as at Ross and my grandfather taught there. I’m going to try to transfer in my sophomore year.
Good news guys… My son accepted a spot in LSA but was denied Ross. Just got off the waitlist at his next business choice so he will be rescinding his spot at Michigan. Good Luck!
@holdingouthope Do you mean he was waitlisted at UM and just got in (but not to Ross) or that he was originally accepted at UM and is now choosing not to attend?
@WolverineDream yeah I was wondering the same, because someone on this forum said his regional counselor said that waitlist decision will be available at the end of May.
@WolverineDream @GoWolverines22 It sounds like he orig was planning on going to Umich (accepted, not waitlisted), and just got off the waitlist of a school he’d rather go to for business and therefore giving up his spot at Umich
Does it count as late May?
What do you mean by “count as late May”
@wolverinedream He applied EA and was accepted in December. FINALLY got a rejection from Ross end of April. The whole Ross process, no business major possibility left a very bad taste, but Michigan was still the best school he got into so he accepted. Just got off the waitlist for NYU Stern though,so a space has opened up for one of you guys!
I meant today is the 17th…does it count as “late” in the month?
Looking back there probably is no way to tell so just ignore that
the umich waitlist 2021 thread was kinda brutal last year. little to none acceptances
They actually admitted the most they have ever of the waitlist last year ( 11 percent ).
WA is down . . . .
@WolverineDream it was down yesterday too.
@EthanAz1 Could be maintenance - I was able to log in yesterday the several times I tried. Just thinking that maybe there’s a Friday release on its way . . .
They are upgrading their software - the whole system will be down until Monday! Guessing that means no news this week, AGAIN.
@WolverineDream WA is back up now.
I hope something happens this weekend
does anybody know how long they give you to accept or decline the waitlist offer if you get in?
Well, you take a place on the waitlist because you would drop everything in June and go to UofM right? So why would it take a long time to make a decision?
