University of Michigan (What are my chances?)

Hi, I am a high school senior and was wondering about my chances of getting into the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I curently have an SAT score of 1410, and will not be taking the SAT again for Early Action purposes. I have an unweighted GPA of 4.88, and a weighted GPA of 4.51. I have done other competitive activities and won at state level at two of them , I also do NHS, and am an IB Diploma candidate. Based on these things what are my chances of getting into the LSA program at U of M.

First of all, do recalculate your uwGPA without subgrades in 4.0 max scale unless you have a typo (that means 3.88 instead). It does not make sense to have uwGPA higher than wGPA. Second, where is your home state? Regardless of applying EA or not, you may want to improve your SAT score the sooner the better. It is currently below admission average.

yeah I did mean 3.88 sorry about that. I live in Michigan. The current admission average is 1350 - 1530 so I am a bit confused on how I am below the average unless the information on the U of M website is not accurate.

The mid 50 (i.e. 25th to 75th percentile) is 1350-1530, then the average is near 1440 assuming normal distribution. It seems you are not so good with numbers. It is great that you are in state as that makes a huge difference withe your stat. It should be a high match for you with GPA right around admission average and SAT right below average. You may still want to improve your test score as you are likely deferred from EA.
