Does everyone have Financial Aid Year 2019-2020 instead of Financial Aid Year 2018-2019 in
“View Financial Aid Document Status” right now?
@HelloHihh mine does too
@HelloHihh mine says the same thing. My application does not have the “view credentials” or “application data” links.
@FutureWolverine3 I talked to the Residency Classification Office and they told me it was because I submitted a transcript from out of state. They are going to fix the problem for me.
I can’t belive it’s only been 3 days since the deadline… I want my decision alreadyyyyy.
@stitch12345 The Winter 2019 deadline was pushed back until October 8th.
Do we know why they pushed it back? That seems super uncharacteristic of Michigan to pull something like that. Did they not get enough applicants for winter 2019? Is this bettering our chances or hurting them?
@nrodwell I think they didn’t receive enough applicants?
Does anyone know why my hs transcripts would be showing as “not received”? I submitted them back in August and my admissions counselor, Kelsey Berlinger, said to not worry since she can see them and it probably hasn’t been updated but of course I am worried about it. I don’t know why it would be taking so long to update to received. I just want to ensure my application is marked complete.
@rosie1898 I would suggest you to call them
So that means they aren’t goinf to review our apps till October 8th?
Who told them they pushed back the deadline?
It is on their main website under the “Requirements + Deadlines” tab. It clearly states that it is now Oct. 8th as the deadline. I know someone posted something about the system being messed up, maybe that has something to do with it?
I called and it was pushed to the 8th but she said she honestly doesn’t know why. Also, she said they don’t start reading applications till after the deadline, so they will start reviewing them on October 9th.
I wonder if that is just for LSA.
@FutureWolverine3 CoE didn’t push back their deadline. I think it was only for LSA.
Hi
@italianno Does your college transcript still show “not arrived” now? And do you receive your UM ID? I asked one of their officer before. They replied to me that they accept both, but even until now, my college transcripts on the common application still shown as “not arrived”. It seems that they do not start loading any applications yet, also seen by other comments. I submitted my application like mid of Aug, but even do not receive emails including UM-ID to access the wolverine… It is pretty strange this year…
@italianno But when I contact with common application, they told me that “Thank you for contacting Common App. That is correct. We must receive the transcript ourselves in order to consider your account complete.”. I am pretty confused now. I would also send common application a transcript as soon as possible…
@spencerrrrr I thank that’s kind of ridiculous for Common App to ask for that. Especially they didn’t require that in previous years, and many people don’t know that they need to do so in this year.
