University of Michigan Winter 2023 Transfer

oh, is there any way you might still get a decision?

I think I have a convincing case. My school is online and it’s often paired with a homeschool program. I have a homeschool coordinator who has made me an official homeschool transcript with GPA and everything. Im going to see if they can accept that, but even then, it might sound sketch to them and they’ll say it’s cool, but they’ll reject me anyway. It sucks since I rly like UMich

wait so what is the deal with the withdrawal application button? why are we waiting for it to go away ?

It’ll mean it’s being reviewed

once it disappeared it means you will get a decision on the same date

usually within like 1 or 2 hrs

No it means that your decision is coming out within 2 hours. Sometimes they will review your application and then decide to hold off on making a final decision at the moment, they may ask you for midterm grades etc.

another L guys, they said I can’t have a graduation date in the future and the person sounds pissed at my idiocy.

Honestly ur 15 just enjoy being a kid and wait a couple of years before heading to college. You’re still a minor and can’t really do anything by yourself in Ann Arbor. Just spend the next couple of years doing what you love and watching your peers struggle through high school and I’m sure UMich will be happy to accept a budding young genius once you turn 18. Good luck!

Ture, you cant even drive when 15

im not sure if its a big deal in ann arbor but its a huge problem at my current school lmao

I understand but I’m finishing community college, it’s not like I can do nothing for 6 years.

just got my portal at 10 am today, my heart is POUNDING :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob: i’ve been denied twice alr and i want to get in so bad

GL my man, you will get in this time

thanks homie, u too :pensive::+1:

Me too lol we r gonna make it this time dw

maybe you could consider applying to umich for grad school instead if you can’t transfer in time? not to sound discouraging! you sound like a really bright kid and i know you’ll find success no matter what path u take.

yeah the backup plan was to apply for spring, where I would be 16 and I’d officially finish high school. Worst case scenario I can’t apply for winter and I have to apply for spring - which is all right considering all my colleges are spring too.

when did u submit ur app?

Submitted my plan B email to them which is making myself homeschool since I don’t qualify for a formal high school graduation. If that fails, I’m applying for spring. The downside is the homeschool is sussier and my GPA drops from 4.0 to 3.91 in hs
