University of Michigan Winter 2023 Transfer

anyone hear back or have their withdraw button disappear?

nah

sep 29

nothing yet (sorry replied to the wrong person rip)

Hey did you submit an entire new application or did you just “update term” with the same essays?

we can wait til like 4/5 EST and if still no one then its not today

Also does anyone’s portal say OOS under “Residency” even though they are in state? I updated my application from fall 2022 and I got an email from UM saying that I was considered OOS for tuition purposes, and I have to apply for in state tuition. Will that affect my admission chances?

i guess it might?

Portals update at 11am, 3pm, and 5pm each weekday. If your withdraw button disappears before each of these intervals, your decision will be available at the next interval.

So check your portal at 3pm.

i submitted a whole new app with the same essays but edited heavily + rewrote one

You could’ve saved yourself $75 by updating your term and sending the updated essay to ecredentials

do AP credits that transfer, count as transferable credits for LSA?
technically they transfer so shouldn’t they add up to your total transferable credits for LSA? (in terms of admissions purposes and giving people with more transferable credits more points)

rippppp

is it EST?

Yeah, just checked, withdraw button still there. No decision for me today.

i saw some people received their decision around 4 EST so I’m not sure lol, but my withdraw still there

it seems they do things different every year, I just checked the winter 2021 and they start to send decision in late Sep lmao

so if you’re accepted, is there a big congratulations in the email or do you just find out when you go and check the decision on the site?
