University of Michigan

University of Michigan has alwayyyys been my dream school, my mom went there so yes, I’m legacy. However its definitely a reach school and i want to honestly know if i even have a shot/ worth applying. GPA- 3.84 UW, W-4.53, junior year- 4.0 second semester, sat 1940 math-660, cr-690, wr-590, taking it again in oct and will hopefully boost writing lots. I have pretty solid EC likes pres of an organization and such. Ive also only taken honors, and 7 aps- (gov, apush, apes, AB calc, lit, lang, psych) I just wanted to know what you think worth a shot or no chance. Also what about (UT, UF, emory, tulane) i know these are probably super reaches but…

Where is your home state and what is your intended major? It looks like a super high match or low reach considering legacy and if you are in state applying to LSA. If you are from OOS or not applying to LSA, it would be a reach. Your uwGPA is near the admission average while your SAT score is 100 below the 25th percentile.

I got into UMich with a 26 ACT and a 4.9 on a 6.0 GPA scale, your specs seem alright.
