University of Minnesota - TC or University of Miami (FL) for BME?

I have been accepted to both of these schools for Biomedical Engineering. Price will be about the same for both. I have heard that University of Minnesota is highly ranked in engineering, and in BME compared to University of Miami. I am torn between the two, because they are still great schools overall. University of Minnesota entices me because the college of science and engineering is well respected, and i feel opportunities will arise from it. However, I have heard atrocities from weather, is it really that bad? On the other hand, University of Miami has a great weather that not many can beat. Furthermore, I like the fact that at Miami classes will be less crowded, as it is a private university. I also like the diversity of students presented in the University.
I plan to get a masters after graduating, if that’s any help, so i guess GPA would be improtant.
Thank you in advance!

Miami weather is tropical - hot and humid, with a rainshower at 4pm every day (I’m not kidding).
But it’s surely easier to withstand than the cold in MN, which is, yes, brutal - but not THAT bad because you buy the proper clothes once you’ve arrive, you use tunnels or skyways to go from place to place, and because it’s dry cold with a lot of sun.
Did you get into the Honors College at UMinnesota?
When you say they “cost about the same”, what do you mean?
