University of Minnesota vs. University of Dayton

Hello College Confidential,
I am a senior having trouble deciding between these two schools. I got into the College of Liberal Arts at UMN and into the computer science school at Dayton. Here's my stance so far:
UMN:
+DIRT CHEAP for Out of state
+Nice Campus
+I liked the residence halls
+Seemingly good atmosphere
+Surrounding City offers me music (huge hobby of mine)
+Minor in music that provides access to music rooms to practice guitar
+Nice people
+Good Reputation
-Huge
-Cold (Im from Chicago and after this winter Im uncertain I want to deal with colder weather)
-Worried it won't feel like a college experience
-Worried the social scene suffers
-Extremely far

Dayton
+Seemingly beautiful campus
+Everyone who goes there loves it
+Real college town feel
+friendly people
+Warmer
+Closer
+cheap tuition
-Idk what else there is to do besides drink
-Can they offer me the same music experience as the twin cities?
-Lower ranked academically
-More money that UMN

To be honest I don't know that much about Dayton if someone could please answer the question I have about other options besides drinking. I love going out and partying but there will be times that I wanna lay low and maybe go see local bands or play my guitar with some people. If I could get PROS and CONS for either school that would really help. In the end I think my visits there will be the deciding factor, however I'd like to hear some people's experiences from both schools. THANKS ALOT!

What compelled you to apply to both?
They’re very different.
Both are strong academically.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?

Well, the music scene between the Twin Cities and Dayton just can’t be compared.
It IS huge and cold, however your worries about the social scene and about not having a college experience are unfounded. Note that the Twin Cities have one of the greatest concentration of Fortuen 500 companies in the country, so if you were ever to look for an internship there wouldn’t be a problem.
Dayton is Catholic, if that matters to you.
You’ll have more personal attention, more interactive/dynamic classes, a closer-knit community.
Look at the Computer Science offerings - remember that your major is only 1/3 of your classes, so look at the other offerings and requirements, too.
What about the dorms - are there living-learning communities? Did you get into Honors Program at either (can you apply?)
How much does each cost?
Do you have other options or are these two your top 2 on the final list?

Thanks for the advise! Yeah they are my top two. The reason being that they were the schools I liked from the small and big schools. I picked one of each to narrow it down but I’m still Havin a tough time hahah
