@ShuttlepilotND It sounded like the poster on the other thread thought the state if Indiana might be looking at FAFSA due to the pell grant

Oh okay I understand, I didn’t know if that was an indication of a “Good Sign” about my application because I highly doubt I’ll get in. But that makes sense that I wouldn’t be eligible for in state aid and would be considered for the Pell Grant. Thanks!

When do you guys think we’ll hear?

I think in June, they need our final grades to make a decision. They usually mail them in June

they said we will hear back between june 1 and july 1. so stressful

I’m guessing starting mid may. Perhaps from the 20th onward

I bet we’ll hear starting late May. Send final grades even if it’s an unofficial report as soon as you get them.

I’m mostly wondering if it is only an option for incoming sophomores or if they will also consider juniors.

I found out that it won’t apply to this transfer class and the policy won’t be effective until Fall 2016.

When I visited, Ms. Camilleri said that once they have the final grade report, they will send out a decision as soon as possible.

how important are high school grades for junior applicants?

I heard that they use high school grades as a starter when looking at applications and then focus on college grades mostly. I’m assuming for juniors, even more weight is put on college grades and so there’s less weight on high school.

Is everyone here certain you will attend if accepted?

Absolutely! I have to SIR to one of my UC schools by June 1st so I’ll do that and pay the deposit but if I get in to Notre Dame then I’ll cancel that and go to Notre Dame in a heart beat.
