My son just received email that he got accepted UO. He applied as RD. That was pretty quick.

Congrats! U of O isn’t messing around — they were speedy with EA acceptances, too.
We did a campus tour and went to a football game in October and were impressed. Oregon has a fairly polished and organized admissions machine. It was a good visit and UO moved up on my daughter’s list.

Congratulations. When did your son submit the RD application?
He submitted RD on Jan 5th. BTW, he received scholarship of $10k/year.

UO admissions is moving fast. Son submitted RD application on the last day 01/15 and the portal has an admitted status update today (01/24). He received an email on Saturday 01/18 from a current UO student (part of their ‘Flight Crew’) to reach out for any questions, so we were surprised at the pace, but not sure if that email meant anything.

Hi… My son found out today that his acceptance came in February 7; he applied January 15.
Still waiting for word on the honors college application.

Applied on Jan 12, haven’t received a decision yet. I’m international so maybe that is a reason. But it probably is because I took a long time to decide whether to send my A-level scores ahead of time as a proof of English proficiency or to send Duolingo scores instead. Ended up sending duolingo scores as they were cheaper.
Also applied to honors college and to their ICSP programs, haven’t heard from either of those. Hoping things go all right

I reckon I could get some merit aid on top of that so perhaps UO could be affordable
