I received conditional acceptance to their pharmacy school, so that means i can just graduate in 6 years.

I've extensively researched Pittsburgh's pharm school and I still don't know now good it is in terms of research, education, and preparation for the workforce. The only information i get is from Top 10 Pharmacy Schools in the U.S., which was a good website about the best pharmacy schools and WHY, and US news weekly's rankings of which i don't care too much about...

Can someone tell me their opinions on the school? How prestigious is this conditional acceptance?

D1 is a P3 at Pitt so she’s due to graduate with her PharmD next year. She was admitted to Pitt with the conditional acceptance just as you have.

I’m not sure what you mean by “how prestigious is the conditional acceptance.”

Pitt is a wonderful school for all the health sciences. With the broad array of hospitals, research centers and other facilities, literally on-campus, the opportunity for research, volunteer positions and pretty much everything else that a pharmacy or other medical science student would benefit from is at hand.

D1 has had multiple internships, fellowships, part-time jobs and has been accepted into rotations world-wide, from Australia to Italy to New Mexico to Minnesota as well as in Pittsburgh. She isn’t quite yet at the stage where she’s about to go into the workforce, but what a diverse world of education and experiences she’s had at Pitt.
