The above link is to a commercial bus service that runs every weekend and during college breaks from VCU in Richmond to a Metro station in Northern Va. The service also serves some other colleges in Va, including UVa. From there, you can get to most National Airport and Marshall Airport, and can take a bus from the end of the Silver Line to Dulles.
