Accepted! 35 act, 97 unweighted
I’m still on step four what the heck lmao
Are people still getting decisions?
My daughter finally got her decision about an hour ago, accepted! 34 superscored ACT, 4.0UW. Hope everyone who’s waiting gets a decision today!
My d just received waitlist!
Good luck for everyone still waiting.
Accepted! Finally!
I got waitlisted, which is better than I’ve been doing with other colleges.
Did everyone receive personal notes on their acceptance? I very much appreciate this added touch and it elevates the college in my eyes all that much more!
I just got accepted 39-IB. Does anyone know any general requirements for final grades ? They weren’t specified
@thisgirlcodes you seem to be the person to go to with questions! I applied after the deadline for priority consideration for merit scholarships… I got in but I am really worried about the financial end of things. Will I not get any merit scholarships now?
I also received a personalized note on my acceptance. They even quoted a line from my essay!
oo @covenas98 could you tell us how they put it?
that’s so nice of them
Just got accepted! Had a 4.0 UW, 1420 SAT, and a 5 on both my BC Calculus and US History Exams. Best of luck to those still waiting!
lol I love how I have a reputation here already but I haven’t even gotten yet. Watch me get rejected anyway haha. Anyway @shopping248 considering they said that’s the date for priority consideration I wouldn’t say that you’re ineligible for merit aid if you applied after that date but you might need higher scores or more impressive ECs than someone who got their app in earlier in order to get one of the higher value awards. Because UR doesn’t have (or at least doesn’t publicize) score requierments for their merit scholarships it’s hard to say whether or not you’ll get anything and I suspect it’s something of a subjective process based on how much they want you to attend. I’m fairly certain applying after the priority deadline won’t put you at a minor disadvantage though you should be just fine.
Since it seems like pretty much everyone posting here who got accepted in the first batch got some kind of merit award so maybe they’d be kind enough to share when they applied and if it was after Dec 1 how much merit money they received. Anyone willing to help out here?
Did you do the net price calculator and apply for need based aid? I think UR says they meet full need but that depends on their calculations not what you think you can afford to pay so if you haven’t already try the calculator and see what estimate it gives you. If that’s satisfactory but the package you actually receive from UR isn’t you can probably appeal for more based on that.
Still on step 4. Three of my friends already got their decisions and we’re all from the same country. I’m drowning in anxiety!
Can I go from step 4 to a decision, or do I have to be on step 5 before?
@thisgirlcodes okay thank you! I am sure you will get your acceptance any day now! We tried the net calculator but I’m not sure how accurate those are, and applied for need based, but again I don’t know how much that will do. I suppose I will just have to wait until the packages get sent out! Thanks again and best of luck:)
And if anyone wants to announce when they applied if they got merit scholarships that would be awesome! Thanks!
@Valeriamgd Step 5 is the decision!
Accepted!

Does financial aid information / scholarship stuff come out separately from decisions?
