after originally reading the acceptance letter i thought it was a generic acceptance letter with a general mention to what many students may have written about/participated in in high school but now that i think about it, the mention was pretty specific to what i wrote about in my essays

anyway, my short answer is yes, mine did

My (accepted) daughter’s stats:

4.0 unweighted (not sure what her weighted average is - she has taken a bunch of dual enrollment classes but our school doesn’t offer AP’s).

yeah mine mentioned my interest in research but I don’t know if it was personalized for me or if they wrote it because the school is known for research

Which college would you choose for Premed - U of Rochester , U of Pittsburgh, Boston University or Vanderbilt ?

Cost?

U of Pittsburgh will cost 18K for tuition after scholarship. All others cost almost the same around 45K for tuition.

Tough call. If cost is not an impediment, I think I would choose based on my intended major and assuming that I am more likely than not to graduate without going to med school.

If cost is an impediment, then of course I’d choose Pitt.
