Wow, exactly 3 apart from each other. I'd go with BC since it's > Rochester. NYU really needs a campus as it's not a traditional college experience (no fields of perfect green grass and shades of tall trees sheltering hot girls in skirts studying beneath them).

I don't know if Rochester is unknown (certainly carries more scholarly connotations to me than NYU does or even BC), but you're right about frigid!

I would choose based on atmosphere and location. These schools have very different atmospheres and attract a different type of student. The ranks are not different enough to worry about. BC- sports, Catholic, most people want to be there. NYU- huge, impersonal, most people want to be there. Rochester- very high quality education (and offers merit aid), but reportedly many students hoped to end up elsewhere.

guys... i got into Rochester ED, and i ve spoken to a ton of people who are there right now.. and its really not that cold. There wasnt 1/2 as much snow as expected and unless your from california cus then u d be freezing, its easily fixed since their tunnels between buildings etc

ok well i never said it isnt cold or it doesnt snow. I am saying it doesnt affect the fact you still go to classes, you can still go to the city, have a social life etc, you can go skiing snowboarding a lot!!The winter is pretty cold, but in no way disrupts a students life.
