university of rochester v. carnegie mellon

Hi, I'm pretty much stuck with the choice between university of rochester and carnegie mellon. I want to generally do premed and i know that rochester is very strong in that area. However I'm not too sure how carnegie mellon compares to that. I know that CM is good at CS, engineering and drama, but not too sure about pre-med. Does anyone have any suggestions?

bump, can anyone help?

The overall rank diferential would normally suggest that there are some relatively clear quantitative differences in how these two schools compare. In fact, the opposite is true as the numbers are very close in nearly every objective category categories. Student body statistical profile favors Carnegie Mellon by a very slim margin. Other very marginal advantages to CMU in Graduation/Retention rank while U Rochester has marginal advantage in Financial Resources. The only really sizable difference is their reputation among academics where CMU has a decided advantage.
