University of Rochester vs NYU

<p>I am in a dilemma right now. I must send in deposits literally by friday. I am in the college of arts and sciences for both schools with more or less the same amount of finaid. </p>

<p>I am afraid that life at NYU would be too hectic for me. I love the city, opportunities, global influence etc.... However, I would like to stroll down on a quiet sunny day on an actual campus as opposed to constantly being surrounded by noise etc...</p>

<p>I have visited both Universities and like them alot. Rochester has amazing research opportunities, and various programs to help undergraduate students. However, prestige, although only a small factor, still affects my decision. </p>

<p>Any advice?</p>

<p>hi, i applied to both of them. My advice is that, if you are more of an liberal art person, go for NYU, and if you are more of a science person, go for Rochester. Also, depends on what kind of campus life you are looking for.</p>
