GPA: 3.9 ish on 4.0 scale, 4.8 on 5.0 scale

Mu Alpha Theta VP (running for Pres. for next year)

Concert Choir Alto Section Leader
French NHS (undecided leadership position)

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks! (:

Hey I think you have a pretty decent shot if you boost your test scores and have LORs and Essays that really stand out and set you apart! Good Luck! Chance back?

@haarshinii thank you so much, I sure will!

You have a good shot of getting in, just focus on improving those test scores a bit (maybe try the ACT out and see how you do on that?) and you’ll do fine. Good luck!

Chance back?

Your stats are pretty impressive. I would take the ACT as the person above mentioned. I took the SAT three times and scored around your score with a slightly higher superscore, but I studied for the ACT for one day and managed to get a 32.
Chance back?

If you retake SAT or ACT after a lot of studying and receive a higher score, I think you would have a way higher chance. Be sure to flourish your involvement while applying and be sure that your essays and reccomendations are very strong. Good luck, and remember to have safeties!

If you would be so kind to chance back, I would appreciate it. But if you can’t find time, don’t worry about it

If you do better on your SAT or ACT, you should have a decent shot. But USC has gotten harder to get into with a 17% or so admit rate so you need to be competitive. It also matters what major you apply for.

I’ve chanced you all back! Thank you all for your advice. On the new sat scale should I be going for 1400-1450 to be competitive? Also I want to major in Psychology and political science, so how will that play out?
