University of Texas at Austin Class of 2023 Admissions

@grlgotexas Thanks for that clarification. I had no idea the majority of acceptances were in waves this year, which makes me nervous.

Has anyone been accepted or heard anything about Liberal Arts Honors yet? (OOS students in particular?)

@ntxtay comp sci!

@kansha thank you! last friday

@columbialions21 Once accepted, you will have the ability to submit Dorm preferences sometime in the Summer. It is based on the date of your Housing application/$50 non-refundable deposit, submittal date.

3 years ago this week, my LHS got his Acceptance into UT and is loving it in Austin. What I’ve noticed most about this years process is that it’s not consistent with that year and from what I’ve read this year, it’s not been consistent with last years process. I’m certainly hoping that my DD will hear this week too, but more realistically I’m setting my hopes to hear something by February 1st. To those waiting/hoping for LAH, I remember that applicants, including me LHS, received that acceptance about 5-10 days after getting into UT. I’ve read earlier in this thread (November/December?) of an AA getting their LAH the same day.

I was informed that those who applied before Nov. 1st should hear about a decision by Feb. 1st and those who applied by the regular deadline will hear by Mar. 1st. Hope this helps.

Has anyone heard from the School of Architecture yet, please?

has any one received admission to Architecture

We are still waiting. Applied November 1. Out of State.

Applied to Architecture. Still waiting here too :confused:

McCombs, and still waiting! In state, applied October

UT is a reach sch. 3.8UW 26ACT. No AP classes, heavy leadership/service. Moody Speech Communication. OOS. Anyone wanna wager odds of acceptance?

Have there been any rejections yet?

Still wondering about Honors for Engineering or Turing Scholars? Has anyone received an Honors invitation? Do they send a rejection?

Has anyone heard of any rejections being released?

Has anyone heard from the College of Liberal Arts?

Hi! I recently toured UT (again) and spoke directly with their admissions office- they said that generally all priority deadline students (applied by nov 1) will receive their decision by February 1, but if you aren’t accepted by then, you still have a chance and could be accepted by the March 1 day.

Anyone know if Nursing is releasing their results anytime soon?

TXrunningMom - my son’s classmate got into Turing program (2 weeks ago!)–in state - auto admit – one of the top ranked school in the country consistently for a long time!! also, did your daughter? do lot of ECs with comp science? many kids who applied to Turing from his school have lot of coding experience …including competitions!

Some good news for you - one of the kids who applied for Turing --wins so many coding competitions got into Stanford Comp science --he also applied for Turing and his spot will be become open!!!
