Thank you Tsip2000 and getchasome. My D was accepted to engineering at A&M and got a partial scholarship to Clemson. She wanted UT. Guess we are going to visit Clemson.
Does that mean today is when they’re announcing? Since everyone is updating? I thought it was rumored to be tomorrow.
rejected. Im crushed. UT was my absolute dream school.

@skdoss I logged onto MyStatus and there was a message saying " We can not offer you admission" and “admission declined”
For those that were rejected - very sorry to hear that. How did they notify you? Did your status say rejected?

@WrigleyMom if your daughter’s top choice is UT you may want to consider PACE or CAP. I read on another forum that PACE is the best option because she’ll be on campus in Austin and co-enrolled in UT and ACC. Successful completion of the PACE requirements and she continues on at UT. I know right now your heart hurts so it’s not what you want to hear. But when you have a chance to consider your options, give this one some serious thought. Good luck.

Seriously…a 35 on the Math ACT and top 1% of over 900 kids and not admitted to Engineering. Sad… There is not a single math or science option to choose for a major. I don’t understand why they don’t look at second choice!

@witxbound well mine said we offered you pace. Also something about cap. Then underneath that it said we’re sorry to … and that was when I started crying… no I’m just kidding. God has a plan for me. If this is how I get into UT, then so be it!!
