Here we go, two comparable state schools across the red river, both my safties.

UT has a better engineering department and computer science, which is very lucrative to me. I also like Austin. I hate the size though.

OU, however, is offering me an $84,000 scholarship (!), but I don't really like the school as much.

judge your choice on who wins tonight :)

Wow, that's an impressive scholarship from OU.

Both schools have strong engineering/sciences departments. I think you would be foolish to pass up that scholarship.

I have a friend that went to OU and was very happy. He was a biochemistry major, went on to get a PhD at Harvard and is working for Genentech.

My former boss is also an OU grad...he liked it as well.

Also, for this year at least, OU has the better football team.

UT-Austin > OU

OU + $84,000 >>> UT-Austin

In spite of today's final score, UT is a great school and Austin is one of the nicest places to live in the entire Southwest. Hook em!

Not that I'm biased or anything.

look ut is definitely a better school, but a scholarship from ou is great. however, ut does attract better students and is more selective. all depends on what you want to do. besides if u go there u can help fire mack brown, greg davis, and duane akina, who are mainly responsible for the loss today because of their horrible playcalling
