Hi everyone,
I just got accepted to the 1st round of Texas A&M as a transfer student for fall 2015 and I am pretty sure I will pass the second round because of my records and it really is a pain for me to make a choice. I am a sophomore at University of Tulsa and transferring to Texas A&M will cost me around 24-30 credits, which is like an academic year, I am satisfied with TU education but Texas A&M seems to be a much better school because of the ranking and job opportunity statistical rates. I would like to know if being an Texas A&M student really makes a difference compared to being a TU student academically and on employer view.
Thanks
I would think that your worries about getting a job upon graduation would be related to the state of the oil industry rather than which of two really strong schools you graduated from.
I wouldn’t even consider repeating an entire year of classes at this point. You could finish at TU and get a master’s elsewhere if you have problems finding a job and be much better off than transferring now IMO.
