Wow, really surprised. I got waitlisted. 4.37 W GPA, 3.9 UW GPA, 1410 SAT. I did say I was applying to their Computer Science major, so maybe that’s why. Just thought I could easily get in considering I’m in-state with decent stats, and I saw a LOT of people in EA who got accepted into UVA who I thought wouldn’t get in. 
Rejected, 4.0 W GPA, 31 ACT, OOS. Knew it was a reach but still sad 
Accepted OOS (after EA deferral). 35 ACT, 4.0 UW GPA, 12 APs (5s on all tests taken so far), NM Finalist, reasonable ECs (but apparently not enough for Jefferson Scholarship), white male from middle America. Excited and grateful to be accepted. Hard decision after end of this month.
Deferred EA, rejected RD. It was a long shot, but I definitely learned a lot about myself through it. Congrats to all who got in and good luck to everybody!

I’m kind of confused how waitlist works. If we reply to another school and say we will go by May 1st, are we still eligible for waitlist? because that kind of sucks if we can’t tell one college we are attending in order to stay on waitlist and then find out we didn’t get waitlist so we are out of options. lol
