For anyone who’s seen the UW Seattle campus, is it a more condensed campus or more spread out across the city? For example, is it more like Boston College or Boston University in the sense of its campus?
It is a condensed area north of downtown. More like BC than BU.
You can switch to “street view” and “walk around” the campus.
Very nice campus yet in the city
UW is a beautiful campus, and the University District is eclectic, vibrant and safe.
Yes, University of Washington in Seattle is very much of a campus setting, just north of downtown. One can see downtown and the Space Needle from campus. There a light rail station on the edge of campus, next to the football stadium, and it’s just a few stops to downtown. The campus is beautiful, especially in the spring when all the cherry trees are in bloom. I was there last spring. There’s plenty of things to do–in adjacent neighborhoods, in the city, and in nature. If it’s a good fit, it’s a great choice.

Here is a little video about the cherry trees that @TTG mentioned:
I visited November 12th and the campus is big but it’s organized and it’s so beautiful and safe.
