So I am a current US senior and I have a 3.38 unweighted GPA and I am really set on attending Waterloo in their Arts and Business program with a Psychology major. The only thing is, I kinda screwed up. Up until this year, I was pretty sure I was going to attend a Texas University but then I visited UW and I loved it. So this year I'm not taking that many classes because in Texas, as in the US in general, your junior year is what colleges look at. I'm enrolled in AP classes this year and I always have been but do i have a chance if I am only enrolled in three AP classes this year with no math or science :( I have done all my required 4 years of math credits and 3 of science and the program I want to enroll in is an Arts program so will it matter? I have always made high marks in English and History as well as my AP psychology class. I am just extremely unaware of my chances of being accepted are, anyone have any knowledge of the program or US students transferring their grades to Canada?

You mean U of W in Ontario, right? I’ve visited a few months ago, and I’m not going to lie, the campus is gorgeous.

Here in Canada, if you go to an Ontario shool, you only need about 80% average, which is extremely easy to obtain. (I guess it’s about 3.2-3.4 GPA)

Also, you’re taking three APs, and you should worry too much about getting rejected.

Good luck!
