Hi everyone! I’m an international student study in american high school and got waitlisted from UW Madison for biology major. Is anyone know what is the general off waitlist rate at this college? This is my first choice college and I already sent a continued interest letter to them. When do the results usually come out? And what are my chances got accepted off the waitlist. My stats is SAT1310, unweighted 3.94 and weighted GPA 3.99, co-founder of Chinese culture club and founder of the math tutoring group and also have been works in bio-tech company for two summers.

You have impressive stats. I think you could wait until June or so. There has been a big increase in OOS and international students applications this year. This seems to have slowed the process as Admissions sorts through those students who it accepts vs those that accept the offer to attend. Good luck to you.
