So I'll be going down to U Park next fall and I'm in desperate need of scholarships. I'm an out of state student so I'll be paying more right off the back and the scholarship I received at my current branch campus won't be going with me. I should have at the end of this semester a 4.0 GPA (If everything goes well with orgo) as a bio major who might also major in geobiology. I searched the financial aid website and joined a bunch of scholarship searches bu they provided little help. I'm going to call the bio department to see if the specific college offers any scholarships but other than that I don't know what else to do. My first year of college was at an expensive private school and I had to transfer because of cost so I really don't want to transfer again. I went to this branch campus because it was cheap and saved me a lot of money for my sophomore year. Also Penn State accepted all of my credits from my old school so that's another reason why I came here. So what should I do?

I would suggest staying at the branch if they offer a bio degree or find a branch that does. University Park is way too expensive, if I could go to a branch campus and graduate I would much rather it unfortunately none of them offer my major.

Yea. No other campus offers biology. I mean I’m applying to med school and I was afraid that if I stayed at a branch campus that might be looked down upon because the branch campuses are less competitive than main. But it doesn’t even show up on your transcript or diploma what campus you went to, it just says Penn State. So the med schools for all they know could just speculate that I went to main. However it doesn’t matter because all bio majors must finish at U - Park.
