University problems...

I'll cut to the chase people, I'm new here and didn't know where else to go. Im having a bad year so far, a close friend passed away and a relative of mine too passed away recently. Was having major depression since the last 3 months and couldn't focus on my university. My GPA fell below 2.0 and now just now i received a letter from my college telling me that I'm on my 1st official academic suspension following Spring 2014 semester and i cannot enroll in any classes till Spring 2015!!!! THATS ONE FULL YEAR!!!! i promised my parents that i'll graduate by next year but now i can't since I'm missing so many semesters!!! I feel so pissed off and sad that i wasted my time doing nothing. Guys i need some major help, i don't know what to do and I'm really going into a panic mode and i might need to literally take some drugs to calm me down. I don't know where else to write since the people here are very helpful. What can i do to get out of probation? Is there any way? My community college also suspended me for having poor GPA. Guys please help me out. I don't know what to do. I can't waste an entire year doing nothing and what hurts me the most is that I'm constantly lying to my parents telling them I'm doing good. Im just a failure. Please anyone give me some advice on what to do, please.
Thank you all.

Man, I’m sorry about everything happens to you. I know my CC will pull people out of probation if students tell them the circumstance and stress they are undergoing. Have you try to tell your adviser about your problem? I’m sure they will understand.

If you can take any class during summer, it surly will help. Especially online class, which will be an easy A for you to pull your GPA up. Also, try to study with friends who can concentrate on studying, or go to public library to study.

In addition, try HCC, I heard that their online classes are pretty easy, no test, HW grade is final grade.

You’ll do well bro! get yourself together and finish whatever needs to be done.

Thanks for the reply and is it possible to get out of academic suspension? I took classes at WCJC (wharton county). I just want this suspension off so i can take my classes and improve again.

Man, never hurt to try, Go talk to them face to face next week. If one doesn’t work, try other advisers.

Will do buddy, thanks you’ve been very informative.
