<p>The University Police responded to 1020 Linden Street (University Village Apartments), Apartment building F for a woman injured. Officers found a 20-year-old female who said that around 10:30 p.m. last night (9/11/2009) she was assaulted in the womens rest room at the apartments pool area. The victim had suffered abrasions and bruises to the face area during the physical altercation with the suspect. The victim who was a visitor at the complex was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.</p>
<p>The suspect forcibly entered the womens rest room while she was inside and demanded the victims purse and money. UCPD Detectives were called to the scene and through their investigation found a second victim who was gave officers a description of the suspect. The second victim was approached in the pool area by the suspect who attempted to entice her into the spa. When victim refused the suspect grabbed at her pants and the victim ran from the pool area.</p>

<p>University Village Towers is located at the university village… no crime happened here, well not this week. </p>
<p>University Plaza is a UCR Housing owned apartment complex. I noticed the gate that leads to the complex was opened this weekend due to new resident move-in… normally i have to wait for my friends to come out and open the gate door to let me in. so im guessing that’s how this punk got in and tried to steal the purse and also some pants T_T… lol</p>
<p>anywho, its a city, its a urban downtown area, ucr or usc, crime happens. just be smart. seriously… running alone at 1am in bootyshorts and sportbra will even make evil Scotty (aka Jason) come after to assault you! (n yes, based on a real case, minus the jason part) </p>
<p>cool thing about living in the dorms is that its located far away from downtown and the city and bad stuff… dorms are near the mountains, nice and quiet and with car and foot patrol. no dam barking dogs in the building next over! dam that was annoying over at Sterling apts.</p>
<p>There’s crime everywhere. A relative of mine just got robbed today.</p>
<p>What’s the use of worrying about crime at school? If it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen. Just take all the steps necessary to prevent it from happening to you or anyone else.</p>
<p>To the UCI shooting: Damn that sucks, and i thought irvine was one of the safest cities in America…</p>
<p>People put down UCR cuz of crime but i don’t understand why if there’s crime at all UC’s</p>

plus college kids commit crimes all the time</p>
