Unsure about what to take sophomore year

Lately I've been thinking a lot about what courses to take in sophomore year next year. Currently I am in:
English II Honors (Not an English person but pulling a 96...who cares about what Creon said in Oedipus Rex :P)
AP Human Geo (First unit didn't make any sense but the class started to get way easier afterwards; I also have a fun teacher)
Physical Science Honors (Too easy for grandma, all it is is formulas and memorizing the periodic table)
Biology Honors (I hate Bio with a passion, gonna avoid AP Bio like the plague)
Algebra II Honors (Also too easy for grandma)
Freshman Orchestra
Spanish II
Intro to Engineering PLTW (taking for AP weighting/college credit at the end of the year)

As of right now I'm thinking my schedule will be something like this:
English III Honors
AP World History
AP Stat
Precalc Honors
Chem Honors
Orchestra Master Class (automatically in because I made Region Orchestra)
Spanish III Honors
AP Comp Sci A OR Computer Programming 1 (Prereq)

My dilemma: Normally, AP Comp Sci is supposed to be a course which one could take without ANY programming knowledge whatsoever. However, my friend who is currently in the course told me that I should take Comp Prog 1, since apparently the material in APCSA very fast-paced and hard, as it builds straight off of Comp Prog (objects, classes, you know the drill).

Also, most sophomores on the honors track only take AP Stat their soph year, however I plan on taking dual-enrollment Vector Calc my senior year at our state university downtown, requiring me to take Precalc sophomore year and AP Calc BC junior year. Apparently the Stat teacher at our school is terrible and the subject material is extremely vague and complicated--it isn't even math, and there a large courseload. Also taking taking Precalc would lower my class rank by a lot of points since it isn't an AP class, bringing down my weighted GPA, which is why I want to take AP Comp Sci next year and get a free period to ease my courseload.

What do you guys think I should do? Should I self-study the prerequisite material for APCSA? Thanks, and sorry for writing a whole book, lol.

Just so you know, depending on the college, some colleges weight Honors Precalc. At least in California, the UCs and CSUs do (but I don’t know how they do it for OOS schools).

What courses could you take instead of Stats? Honestly, it’s not that important of a course. You can always take it at the CC later.

If you want to self-study the prereq material, I’d recommend using Codecademy; it’s pretty good at teaching the basics of programming languages (study Java).
