Unsure Junior...please clear my doubts.

I'm in 11th grade, I've taken all Honors/AP since 9th grade. SAT score is like 660 math, 600 Reading, 670 Writing (first time, taking it again). All my honors/AP course grades were essentially B's with a few A's. I've taken 5 AP courses so far and I'll be taking an additional three more next year for a total of 8. GPA unweighted is 3.1. I have tons of EC's...member of multiple clubs, officer position for two clubs, FBLA Nationalist, Varsity tennis member, some 60 hours of community service.

I would love to go to Pitt Main Campus or Penn State main, but those are the only ones I feel are at least within reach...
I'm not sure what schools would be a good "match" for my credentials, unfortunately.

Help?

Pitt Main Campus is a definite yes. My sister has pretty much all of you grades, with a significantly lower quailty and quantity EC, and she got in. She did have a higher SAT (2140, superscore), but I know kids with 1800s who got into Pitt.

You should get into PennState too. I hear its a bit harder than Pitt, but w/ a 2000+ SAT, you should be fine.

Keep in mind that for these State schools, GPA and SATs matter a whole lot more than ECs. Try to increase that SAT.

If you don’t mind, could you chance me as well?

Actually, Pitt has higher admission numbers (SAT, class rank, GPA), so it is harder to get accepted to Pitt. Pitt and PSU are pretty different schools (urban vs rural, medium vs large) and have different strengths. Both are good choices, and you should go where you’re more comfortable as far as atmosphere and academic interests.

Bump, looking for some more opinions as the application process draws nearer.
What about Syracuse, Wake Forest, Drexel, and U of Scranton?

Thanks.

Should also note I got a 31 on the ACT which I hope is a bit better than my SAT score.

I would stick with the ACTs if I were you because if you bump that score up 1 more point you can go to a lot of great schools. BTW are you a Pennsylvania resident??

And Wake Forest might be a bit of a reach because it is just so small, and maybe Syracuse would be too. Drexel is pretty easy to get in to from what I’ve heard. And I don’t know anything about U Scranton.

Yeah, I’m a PA resident. I’m also considering UConn, UDel, UMich, et al.

I’m looking for suggestions too…I’m really new to all of this college stuff.
For 12th grade, I’m taking:
Honors Anatomy/Phys
AP Psych
AP Physics
Honors Physics (2 sep. classes, one mechanics, the other E&M)
AP Calc BC
AP English
Honors Enviro Science
