I was just wondering what the advantages were for going to Michigan over Miami (OH) and Purdue. I got into LSA-undecided at Michigan but now am thinking about engineering or business. Is it hard to get into engineering from LSA? I was accepted to Miami undecided and Purdue's Freshmen Engineering Program. I'm from OH.

If I went to Miami they have a "3-2" program. You take 3 years of engineering physics at Miami and then as long as you have at least a 3.0 gpa you can go anywhere to receive an engineering degree from another school in 2 years. With a 3.0 gpa, you are automatically accepted to Columbia, Wash U, and Case Western.

I have grown up watching Michigan Football and basketball so that is definitely a plus but I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra money to go to UofM. Cost is not a major concern.
