UofT vs McGill

This thread has probably been posted many times before, but I don't know where to find them.

I've been accepted to both UofT and McGill for Arts & Science. I'll probably be double majoring in Economics and some sort of biology at both schools, so I want to know; which school is better? I'm talking everything from academics, extracurriculars, and job/internship opportunities.

I've walked around both schools and I find that McGill has a lot of hills that I have to climb, and most of the buildings look really old from the outside. I didn't get a chance to peek inside though. Is the layout of McGill really hard to navigate for amateur bikers? (I'm talking bicycles).

McGill’s historic buildings and the mountainside campus are part of the school’s character. If you want flat modernity, York would be a good choice.

Montreal is an incredibly good biking city.

U Toronto is a bigger deflator than McGill is… then again, if you want to go to grad school, I hope the grad schools you’ll then be applying to are aware of the deflation (then again, I’m not sold on whether McGill really is that big of a deflator for biology nowadays)

What do you mean by deflation? Like, people getting B’s and C’s in UofT will get A’s elsewhere? And McGill might do the same thing, except on a smaller scale?
