I am a transfer student at a ccc trying to transfer to one of the UCs. Up to which semester do UCs take into account? Let’s say I am a 3.6 gpa at the time of application (applications are due the mid/end of november I believe) and 3.9 gpa after fall semester. Thank you
After applying, transfer students are required to update their grades and course records.
If you are applying for fall quarter/semester 2018, you must provide the UC’s with a list of courses completed in fall 2017 and associated grades, as well as your planned coursework through summer 2018.
Even if you do not have any in-progress or planned courses and your record of course grades was complete in your original application, you must log in to your application and complete the Transfer Academic Update.
@Gumbymom Thanks for the reply. I know UCs don’t look at the application until feb or march. So that means the final gpa they’d be looking at will the the cumulative gpa including the fall 2017 right? I am applying for Fall 2018. Thank you
