We’re visiting IU and Jacobs MS in a few weeks. My daughter plays piano, is a junior, and is interested in applying. She has played for 10 years, and has taught students for four years. She attended FSU piano institute last year, and is fairly advanced (but I am biased!).
Does it make sense to schedule either a meeting/lesson with an instructor there if they are available? Or meet with someone from admissions in JMS? Academically, she is very strong, but I know that the music school is fairly selective. We are also likely planning on applying for their summer piano music program.
