Update Form

oki doki. I applied SCEA to Stanford and got deferred. For my update form, I'm gonna say that I just started my school's first Varsity Body's Tennis Team and a team fundraiser (for which we raised $2835, even though we'll only get to keep about $700 because the company we fundraised with takes the rest, but I'll only tell Stanford the $2835 ;)) Anywho, I'm also gonna say that right now in ASB, I'm on the Community Relations Board and we're helping an organization that provides shelter for battered women and we're helping with a church that caters to Spanish-speaking people and gives them clothes. ASB gets to do activities with the kids. Also, I'm gonna put that I am registered for Chem 180 and Chem 180L at a local community college, which I said I was going to do on my app. On Dec 11th, I emailed Stanford and told them that the USTA tennis team to which I belong won our league and placed second in Southern California sectionals. They emailed me back the next day, saying they received it and they're forwarding it to the Admissions office, but I don't know if they got it in time. I'll probably put it on the form too. Oooookay, so my question is, "Is there anything else Stanford would like to see me do, like take the SAT again (please say no) or start some other activity?" Here's my stats:

GPA: 4.586 Weighted, 4.0 Unweighted

My tennis coach is pretty famous in the college world, and I had him write me a recommendation for Stanford and USC. I don't know if that will help. I want to major in Chemistry and do Premed, but as my scores show, I did much better at English than at Math. I don't know if that will hurt.

wow this is a really long post

anyone????

lol not sure but are you going to send your update in their envelope or a 9x12?

I haven't decided yet, but I think I'll put it in the envelope they gave me

CATennisPlayer, when r u planning to send the update form. I have to send mine too. I haven't done anything about deferral. Is there any advice for me. Thanks.

do you think they'll get mad if i send in a short essay (about an internship i had over the summer that i never really went indepth about on my app) with the update form?
