this isn't necessarily harvard-specific, but for hyps, etc. colleges, is it worth sending an update letter this week? i have some initiatives with my nonprofit and community, new awards, and a new research abstract, which all happened after january 1. i was under the impression that admissions at these schools happen in rounds, so assuming my app wasn't already thrown out, would they still take the updates into consideration? also, i'm assuming snail mail is the way to go but has anyone successfully sent an email for the same purpose? thanks!

You can call admissions and ask if it is worthwhile to send an update. I would think not, at this point.

Just called the admissions office today; they said it wasn’t too late.
