Update Personal Essay for RD?

I was deferred during EA, and was wondering if it’s a good idea to update my personal essay?
My original one is not as good as it could’ve been upon review and I wrote a new one for my other RDs but I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to send in the new one to GTown.
The original application can’t really be changed but in the portal, it gives the option to make updates or changes.
There is a form with the option to “provide an application update”, when selected it gives a text box and a place to upload a file.
Based on this, would it mean that they encourage us to update as necessary? Should I upload my new personal essay?

"I was deferred at Early Action. What can I do to increase my chances of being admitted at Regular Decision?

Early Action admission is offered to a limited number of students, those whom the Admissions Committee is certain they would offer admission based on information from freshman, sophomore and junior years only. Deferred students are strongly encouraged to maintain high senior year grades and submit any new information, such as standardized test scores, new honors or awards."

THIS is the purpose of the “provide an application update” form. Revised essays aren’t new information so likely won’t be read. However, if it’s possible - or if they encourage - a letter of continued interest, you should send that along as well.

“My original one is not as good as it could’ve been”
As of submit date, it should have been your best. It won’t leave your file because you add another. Nor will they be impressed that you weren’t satisfied with your original, which you had time to get right.
