I just found out that I was a GMS scholar Wednesday and emailed MIT about it, they sent me a reply saying that they"will forward the information to the Records Office". Does this mean that the new info I sent in will be considered in my application? They did only receive this 2 days before the saturday admission results, so would this new info be too late to influence my app at all?

Most likely it was too late, as the final decisions have probably been made already – but you never know. Hope you are accepted anyway!

It was almost certainly too late to influence your RD decision – the last few days before admissions decisions are released, the admissions officers are usually getting packages together for admits, etc.

The information could be helpful if you end up being waitlisted (and no, the fact that the information was forwarded is not a sign that you’ll be waitlisted).
