Is it too late to send MIT emails about any updates for my application?

I (with some other students) represented my country at an international event, so I feel I should update the admission officers about this, but I don't know if it's too late or not.

You can certainly send updates, but the admissions office is probably mostly through selection by now. They usually aim to release decisions in mid-March, which is only two weeks from now.

Did they likely finish selection already? I called the admissions office two weeks ago since they had not yet received any of my test scores. They said I should call again next week (which was last week).

They ended up getting in, but do they review files without test scores?

I think they would probably review a file without official test scores, then glance over the official report when it arrived. The official scores likely wouldn’t make or break an applicant’s case.
