Real quick question. I apologize if this is a common question. I recently applied to NASS and sadly, was not offered a spot. I'm doing my best not to let this waive my resolve. Since then, I've been doing my best to improve as a potential candidate. Is there any way to let the Admissions office know if some of your information has changed? (In a positive light too might I add) I'm hesitant to call my admissions counselor as I do not want to waste his/her time, but I do want to do the best I can to keep them updated. So I'm torn. Any advice is appreciated.

I have to believe that if a candidate to the SAT test again, he or she would be permitted to send the new scores to the Naval Academy. Also, there will be additional grades reported by H.S.

BGO told us SAT subject matter test not needed but IF she took it in Chem, Physics or Math 2 and scored well, then to send it. If not, don’t worry about it. Our kid is taking 3-4 of the subject matter test as some civilian colleges require them…one she found out about requires 3!!!

I got my candidate letter and it said I could update my information via the candidate portal. So that’s good. I don’t know about the whole subject test thing.

Just to clarify, the NASS application indicates you CANNOT update that once submitted which appeared to be the original questions. Once you become an official candidate, you CAN update your USNA application as necessary, examples might be more recent SAT/ACT scores, h.s. accomplishments, etc.
