@KritikMan looking like daughter will go with UW comp sci if Wharton WL doesn’t come thru.
You know from what I am seeing, almost everyone got waitlisted for Wharton. Is anyone a STEM major?
Me! Got waitlisted at CAS (biology)
Likewise–CAS Cog Sci
@west2east20 Nice!
I’m probably going to UT Austin (which consistently ranks T10 best undergrad business schools) if Wharton rejects me
Ngl I might even go to UT if Wharton accepts me for three reasons: a) cheaper b) closer c) more well known and can get me better connections/opportunities in Texas . . . but who knows I’d have to see what Wharton’s financial aid offer is
Cornell Dyson started having some AOs calling folks asking if they are still interested in being on the waitlist and when the student replied Yes, they were told “Great, you are in!” Why can’t Penn do the same?
Has anyone heard of anyone getting off the waitlist yet or any news on If the waitlist is moving?
@nyc1201 I scour Reddit a couple times a day and see no evidence of any movement. Maybe after May 1.
Interesting article for International admits to take a gap year at Penn:

@west2east20 I saw that email and thought (a) very nice tone indeed, (b) good news for domestic waiters and © how this might impact the class of 2025’s slots. Good luck to everyone!
I only uploaded my letter of continued interest onto the portal on April 13th because I never saw the April 12th deadline until now (because I just read the attached FAQ). Was this a strict deadline because I know they only start going to the waitlist after May 1 and will this make any difference potentially?
I was also unsure as to why they set a deadline of April 12th when they stated that waitlist is considered beginning in May. Overall, I don’t think a day or a couple of days makes a difference and I’m sure even if you never submitted a letter you will be considered in some way or another, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it
My D was waitlisted for the College of Arts & Science at UPenn. Is there any stats on that school? Is must on this thread waitlisted for Wharton?
Admissions stated to my daughter’s counselor that they begin to review the waitlist on 4/15.
@kbinspections ahh I see. Did the counselor call admissions?
@kbinspections They’ve been reviewing the waitlist for ten days omg!
Good luck y’all we gonna need it!
Missed the memo on the LOCI being due in the portal by April 12. Submitted it last night, and ran into no issues doing so. I did email my AO before April 12th with a more general update, though. Will this preclude me from being considered?
If they began reviewing the waitlist on April 15th, when will we find out about our final decision? In addition, how many are they expected to take off the Arts and Sciences Watlist?
Lets hope we all get good news after May 1st.
I just got an additional reference today. I submitted the Penn form before the April 12 deadline though. Is it worth it to send this reference to Penn?
